After 821 years the most prestigious nalanda university is going to start back in action soon. The classes has been started in Rajgir near to previous nalanda . Though students from many countries has applied for admission ( around 40 countries ) , The vice chancellore said that it has started intially with just 15 students which will go vast expansion in upcoming days . This was intiated by Ex. President Of India Abdul Kalam and Ex. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The central minister Sushma Swaraj would inaguarate the celebrations in a grand manner on september 14th of this month. 12 kilometers from old nalanda university , a new university with modern technologies would be contructed in 455 acres of land. Funding by thailand,austraila , singapore and many more countries has been most helpful.
